I guess you could say that I'm going to be "diversifying" this blog a little bit over the coming weeks and months; I'll still be posting about Battlefield 3 primarily, but I'm also going to be writing about some other games too, including Modern Warfare 3 and Star Wars the Old Republic.
Why am I going to be posting about different games on the same blog?
Firstly, it means I don't have to spend time setting up any other blogs, and secondly this blog already has a decent readership (around 1000 visits a week) so it makes sense to post here.
Thanks for reading!

Relik Battlefield 3 Guide Download
Are you looking for a Relik Battlefield 3 guide download?
Unfortunately, this is not the place to download the Relik Battlefield 3 guide for free; nor am I going to tell you where you can get it for free.
However, if you really want the Relik guide then let me explain to you quickly why you should actually purchase a legitimate copy of it (or, if you want you can read my Relik Battlefield 3 guide review here)
The Relik guide will teach you how to become a much better Battlefield 3 player in a short space of time. I've used it myself, read through the guide multiple times etc, compared it to other BF3 guides, and I really like it and highly recommend it (and that's coming from someone who plays a lot of Battlefield 3, and other games)
As much as it sucks having to pay for things, the Relik team have definitely put a lot of time and effort into the guide and deserve to be rewarded for making it. Not only that, but they are a small company, not some faceless multinational trying to bleed people dry of every last dollar they have for a substandard product - /rant.
And anyway, when you purchase and download the Relik Battlefield 3 guide you receive a 60 day money-back guarantee which seems pretty darn watertight to me. So you really don't have anything to lose, because if you don't like the Relik guide you can just get a refund.
With that being said, click here to download the Relik BF3 guide for $37.

Tweakboy Ultimate Overclocking Handbook Review
It's pretty much common knowledge that PC is the best platform for playing Battlefield 3 on. You get more players on the field at once, better graphics, and greater control thanks to the humble mouse and keyboard combo.
However, you need a FAST computer to run Battlefield 3 properly. Nothing sucks more than laggy framerates and choppy performance when playing a game that was made specifically to look great. Now if you haven't already taken a look at my quick guide to increasing your Battlefield 3 framerate, you should do so... but it's important to remember that short of purchasing new hardware, there is nothing more effective at boosting your framerate than overclocking.
The biggest difficulty with overclocking is that it is a bit of a minefield if you are inexperienced (in fact, even experienced over clockers can run into trouble)
That's where the Tweakboy Ultimate Overclocking Handbook comes into play. This is a comprehensive eBook guide to wringing the maximum performance possible out of your current PC hardware setup. It's basically a complete guide to take you from overclocking zero to hero.
Here is my Tweakboy Ultimate Overclocking Handbook review:
The main thing you will notice with the Tweakboy guide is that it is a complete blueprint for overclocking. I've used quite a few different OCing guides in the past (I mean who doesn't love to get the most out of their hardware as possible?) but most of them deal with all the different components of the computer as totally separate entities, and don't relate them back together. What I mean is that you might get a guide to overclocking your CPU, and then another one for the video card, but there is nothing on how you can link your overclocking efforts together for the maximum possible framerate.
However, Tweakboy teaches you how to sync your overclocking efforts together to get the maximum possible performance increase. This is some seriously cool stuff, because by synchronizing everything you are going to get some much bigger framerate increases.
Here's a picture of a world record processor overclock made with the Tweakboy overclocking blueprint:
As you can see, that's some pretty impressive performance there. While I've never managed to rack up anything that insane on my own machines (mainly because I don't want to push out the boat so much as to risk causing damage) I have absolutely no doubt that anyone following the Tweakboy blueprint is going to see massive increases in performance, clock speed, and gaming framerate.
The guide currently sells for $47 USD, which is a bit on the pricey side for an eBook. However, when you consider that you are going to see framerate and general PC performance increases equivalent to probably hundreds of dollars of new components and hardware, the Tweakboy Ultimate Overclocking Handbook suddenly becomes a lot better value. You also get a 60 day money-back guarantee in case you aren't satisfied with the results you get, and payment processing is 100% safe and secure.
Finally, the Tweakboy support team are very friendly and easy to contact, so you can always get in touch with them easily and they will help you out every step along the way with your overclocking efforts.
Overall, I review the Tweakboy Ultimate Overclocking Handbook very highly, and truly recommend that you buy yourself a copy and get the maximum performance possible out of your PC. Click here to learn more about the Tweakboy Overclocking Handbook.

Relik Battlefield 3 Guide Review
So Battlefield 3 has been out for quite some time now (at least when you consider the pace with which things move in the gaming world) Countless hours have been valuably "invested" worldwide into one of the most entertaining online shooters of all time.
We have also seen a number of BF3 multiplayer guides spring up, all of them being targeted at players really wanting to up their game and take it to the next level. A couple of months ago I did a roundup of the best Battlefield 3 guides.
But today I am going to give you a Relik Battlefield 3 guide review. Over time I have come to like this guide more and more, and actually think it takes the mantle as the best BF3 strategy guide (infinitely better than any "official" or authorized guide I might add)
Relik Battlefield 3 guide was the first of the digital BF3 strategy guides, and as the saying goes, "with age comes experience." The biggest draw card of Relik is the great quality of the instructions, tips and strategies for improving your score when playing Battlefield 3. It really is useful information that would take you hours and hours of experimenting to find for yourself (and time is money after all)
At the same time, Relik Battlefield 3 guide is hugely slick and polished. It is a professional product, and you will have no doubt about it when you see the guide for yourself.
Beginner BF3 players will probably benefit the most from the strategies in Relik; advanced players will still find some useful advice and strategies, but it is not as comprehensive for experienced gamers.
The strategies and tips in the guide are all nicely balanced to reflect the subtle differences that arise from playing on either 360, PS3, or PC. There aren't any strategies that are specific to any one platform, so it's nice to be able to use Relik's strategies regardless of what system you are using.
Now there are some point where Relik BF3 guide does fall short, so let me cover those as well:
* It's quite expensive, at $37 USD.
* I don't actually like eBooks/digital guides as much as physical products, just because there isn't that "tangible feel" (although this is really just me being picky)
* The video sections could be a bit higher quality - they aren't bad by any means, but they could be better.
* After sales support could also be better. If you have a question, comment, or concern it can take quite a while for the Relik support team to get back to you (they were actually a lot quicker when the product first came out) However, this is not too much of a problem as you are unlikely to have any difficulty with the guide anyway.
If you want to improve your Battlefield 3 skills and start playing more like a pro then I really do suggest you buy Relik. It's not like you're risking anything in any case, as you get a 60 day money-back guarantee if you aren't satisfied.

Battlefield 3 Increase FPS - A How To Guide
Have Battlefield 3? Want to increase your FPS? Here is a quick run-down on how to increase your Battlefield 3 framerate:
* Start by dropping "unnecessary" settings like anti-aliasing and particle effects. If you don't have the hardware to run such high-end settings then you will get a better experience by turning them off and having a smoother frame rate.
* If you want to increase Battlefield 3 FPS then make sure your drivers are up to date. Whether you have an ATi/AMD card, or an Nvidia model, make sure you have the latest possible drivers. On my gaming laptop I saw a massive performance boost from upgrading my drivers to the latest BF3 approved edition.
* Close down any unnecessary programs that run in the background and could suck up processor power. Things like Daemon Tools (unless you actually use it to run BF3) or the Winamp agent should be shut down.
* Lower the in-game resolution. Sure, things will look a bit less impressive, but those extra FPS might make the difference between a fun game and a crap game.
* Reduce your BF3 lag; sometimes you might mistake lag for poor framerate.
* Overclock your PC. If you want the most performance possible from your current hardware then this is the best choice. There are many factors to consider when overclocking, and although it can yield some amazing results you do need to be certain of what you are doing. I recommend investing in the TweakBoy's Ultimate Overclocking Handbook. For less than $50 you can get hundreds of dollars of extra performance out of your computer.

What Is The Best Battlefield 3 Strategy Guide?
So what exactly is the best Battlefield 3 strategy guide? There are a quite a few different options out there when it comes to professionally produced guides for BF3. I've had a look at the majority of them (yes, I have some mad "hook ups") and have reached a conclusion:
If you are a newbie BF3 player and want to learn how to play well enough not to get your ass kicked, then you should go for Relik Battlefield 3 Guide. In my "What Is The Best Battlefield 3 Guide?" roundup I praised the excellent beginner guide and attention to detail; the presentation of this guide is also second-to-none.
However, for the more experienced gamer it may lack enough pro-tips and high end strategies. Basically, Relik Guide is great for teaching you how to play the game, but is not so good at showing you how to absolutely dominate it.
If you fancy yourself reasonably talented at games then you want CJ's Battlefield 3 Dominator Guide. I'm a big fan of CJ's gaming guides, and really liked his Rift Supremacy Guide.
Battlefield 3 Dominator will teach you some truly powerful strategies and gaming techniques that would normally take hours and hours of practice. Although it is quite pricey at $34.99, there is a watertight 60 day money-back guarantee if you aren't satisfied, and there is an awful lot of quality content in this guide.
Oh, did I mention it has video instructions and strategy guides? No, no I did not.
